This opal comes from the Welo Mine in Ethiopia. It is getting harder and harder to find nice specimens with rich color in the fire flash. These types of opals are essentially translucent to bright light and display pretty changing rainbow fire as the stone is viewed from multiple angles!

Pendant measures 2.5 inches long, including the dangling yellow sapphire briolette.

Unwrapped opal measures 15 mm long, 8 mm wide and 4 mm thick. It weighs 0.2 grams or 1 carat. It has beautiful glitter like confetti fire within the stone that sparkles in the light!

Artisan hand crafted in sterling silver wire with an antique Venetian glass wedding cake bead (circa early 1900's), a Swarovski crystal and a yellow sapphire briolette.

Comes with a satin cord.
