This kind of crystal goes by many names: Rosie Kullu, Himalayan Ice Quartz, Nirvana Quartz and Growth Interference Crystal. Due to planetary changes, ice has been disappearing from some of the higher elevations in the Himalayas. These crystals were hiding in the ice for eons and became available to mankind (discovered in 2006). They are a spectacular form of growth interference quartz, which means a secondary mineral was present during crystallization (calcite) that later washed away leaving all the beautiful patterns of nooks and crannies!

It is unusual to find this variety of crystal in such a nice scepter form, with intact termination and nice clarity in the head portion! Its a beautiful specimen with just a trace of blush hue.

The pendant measures 2.75 inches long, including the bail.

Unwrapped Himalayan Ice Scepter quartz crystal point measures 32 mm long, 17 mm wide and 11 mm thick; it weighs 8.3 grams or 41 carats.
